Antique Hand Wrought Branding Iron YtI have recently acquired several terrific cast iron cattle branding irons. I don't know the age, but i was told that they are very old. I have been contacted by an expert who saw tehse on auction and informed me that they are all hand wrought, not forged like i originally had them listed. They are totally functional, with a great patina. It's very difficult to make out the brand's initials on some of them, so please check hte pictures. This one looks like yt. tI measure approx. 14 1/2 tall. These vintage branding irons would make a great addition to any collection or a wonderful start of a new one! Welcome ot my auction.
