The knife is of excellent quality, outstanding hand forged blade, excellent handle construction. The top edge is only shap half the way. I'm unsure of the age but this could be easily be from the late 1800's. Greta piece. Blade 1/4 thick, 7 1/2 long, very sharp.Handle wood scales. Fittings brass guard, bolsters, butt and rivets. Overall length 11 3/4. Condition very-fine/used, shows general use but no abuse, knife is oslid and tight, blade has some minor carbon spotting and one small area with some light pitting. Grading scale poor, good, very-good, fine, very-fine, excellent, mint (i rarely grade anything as mint). We would ilke payment to be made via paypal 7days. Shipping is $5.95 via usps priority mail. Insurance is $1.70 for $50, $2.70 for $100 and $1.00 for each $100 after. Foreign bidders must contact us for a shipping quote as it will be more expensive.
